Pavers in Salem, Keizer & Turner
A paver job lasts as long as the base under it. On heavy, wet clay that means excavating deep enough, laying and compacting crushed rock in lifts, setting a screeded sand bed, and pitching the surface so water runs away from the house. Edge restraints and polymeric sand keep everything locked in place.
Interlocking pavers flex instead of cracking the way a poured slab can, and any damaged stone can be lifted and replaced. We help you choose color, pattern and borders, and can tie a patio into lighting, steps, seat walls or a fire feature.

Frequently asked questions
Are pavers better than concrete in Oregon?
Pavers handle freeze-thaw cycles and soil movement without cracking because each piece can shift slightly. Damaged pavers can also be replaced individually, which isn't possible with a poured slab.
Can you fix sunken or uneven pavers?
Yes. We lift the affected area, rebuild and compact the base, and reset the pavers.
